Mandarins should only be kept by experienced aquarists due to their difficult husbandry. They need an aquarium with plenty of live rock, sand, and hiding spaces. We highly recommend making sure you have plenty of copepods in your aquarium when you purchase a mandarin as it can be time consuming to transition them to frozen food.
