The lawnmower blenny has many different names they are known by, these include the Sailfin Algae Blenny, Rock Blenny, or Jewelled Rockskipper. They are typically peaceful in an aquarium, however they can be aggressive towards other fish of similar body shape or appearance. It is possible that they will nip at SPS coral or clam mantles. If there are insufficient amounts of algae in the aquarium, their diet can be supplemented with spirulina or other herbivore targeted foods.
